Textile project 2

Walt: We are learning how to use a sewing machine to sew our cushion.

Task description: This week I am here at Tamaki college to do textile. I am very happy because I am spending time with my friends name Amira, Anania, George, and many more. Today I am  learning all about sewing with a machine. I thought it would be easy but instead it was tricky. So after finishing we had a awesome time doing this. Here is my work I did at textile!

This book is about Melanie Cheung  who is a Neurobiologist that study brains.
Melanie Cheung is trying to find a cure for people who have huntington's deases. Her
heritage is Maori and the brain is very Tapu which mean sacred.


My rating about the book:

I think it is a 4 out of 5 because it is very interesting to learn new stuff. And also I
really like knowing different stuff about the brain and discover something great about our
brain.

Information about the book:

In my thoughts I really enjoy this book! Because this book is about a girl who have a Aotearoa dad, and a Samoan Mum which she is beracial. In this book she have been tease many of time just because of her appearence so she was a bit sad about that. So when he grandma walk with her she was really embarrass about herself, so then her grandma gave her an advice and told a story about her mother being a first samoan lawyer.

My rating about this book:

I think this book is a 5 of  5 because I really enjoy about even being different we can still be our self. I recommend this book because I really enjoy it and I think you will

Inga Mata i pusi

Task description: Today task we are reading a book name Mata i pusi. I really enjoy this book because it is about the girl who is different and people tease her. But then her grandma stand up for her and told her to be proud of her self being different looking.

Textile

Today task we did textile and it was really fun! Because I have really enjoy the time doing a new thing.

Enjoying the time at polyfest.

                                        Polyfest 2019

Have you ever been to polyfest before? Well I have and on Wednesday we were very lucky to go to polyfest! So at polyfest we get to enjoy spending time with each volunteer who did the activity.

My favourite part about Polyfest is that we get to win many of prizes. And also when we get to go to the food stand it there was so much delicious and tasty food there. In polyfest I also enjoy our dancing activity. Because it was very cool and also exhausted too.

I will like to say thank you  to the helpers for spending time with us. Because without them we couldn't be able to experience or enjoy this fun time at polyfest and I am very appreciate that.  

Mixture of problems

WALT: do our best at the test by practising word problems.

Task description: For this task we have to try our hardest to complete this. For my opinion it was really hard! But one thing that I enjoy is that at least I try. So in my class we have to finish off our work and I am very happy because we get to complete this! SO after posting we post it on our blog.

Analyse Data

      

    Task description: This week in math we                                                           are doing analyse data. In class we were figuring out about our question and it was all about analyse data. In my group it was me, Amira, Julieanna, and Pauline. In this math problem we have to think about the information  about our math.

Textile project!

Today we are learning in textiles all about sewing. And today project I did textiles and my favourite thing about this whole experience is that we get to enjoy spending time doing difficult stuff example like sewing. But after finishing my practice I think it is really cool.
