WOW right! And for you guys who don't know P.E.S ( Point England school ) when we have our annual cross country. It's Every year we always have a cross country on September. And what we have to do is simply run. My favorite part about cross country is seeing all the kids who participate. As I am one of the house captain. Which I am really a proud sport captain and each house captain too. ( 2 per team ) have 4 teams. Red( Te Aurere), Blue(Hine Moana ), Green(Hokule'a), and Yellow (Hikianalia). And I am the Red captain/leader with my partner Paschal. But unfortunately he couldn't come. But never mind about that. So the first thing we did as a whole school was hearing me do the prayer. To be honest with you's I was so nervous doing it but happy/blessed too. Knowing how to experience being in front of a lot of people speaking:) and next time I want to improve speaking confidently as it's my last year as being a leader too. So then after doing the prayer the house captains then do their encouragement words. Then after, we demostrate to the kids where to run first. Once after showing/demostrating it was time to start and kaboom! </span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><span style="font-family: inherit;">Everybody did so good trying their best as a champion ofc😌. Because they were determined to try their best. But people who didn't come it's okay. But you guys miss a lot of fun. But it's really fine. My 2 favorite part is their attitude and encouragement to 1 another. Which that was 1 of my other favourite part too. Because I love all their supportness to 1 each other. It really made me really happy!</span></div><div><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: inherit;">This whole experience of cross country was a blast. To end cross country Toby prayed for us. We then let off back to class. ( I was very very proud of myself and my siblings)👍</span></div></div></div>Tuluingahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11267512607742967642noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2777461586052197678.post-82410506715713444722020-09-16T21:58:00.001+12:002020-09-16T21:58:27.289+12:00Tuluinga Finding a Fractions of a Whole<div><span style="font-family: arial;"> WALT: Find a fraction that is given to us and finding the Whole.</span></div> <iframe allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="299" mozallowfullscreen="true" src="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vTbO6WvvT0sK83nqJ1WZelVvbS7T24UNmBQfstdCQErGhywo2l_jIg7UYx5s7oriAkiwLxGDYbcWwxI/embed?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" webkitallowfullscreen="true" width="480"></iframe> <div><span style="font-family: arial;">Task description: This task here is the level 2 Math task. <span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">Today at PES ( Point England school ) it was time for the year 7's to go tech. While the year 8's are here at school starting our rotation already. After morning tea. My group ( tahi ) went to our Te reo maori rotation and this is our lesson we are doing/learning. Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi? What is the weather like. And for this task we really needed to learn the new kupu hou ( new word ) and the phrases. Then answer the following questions. Which I found this task cool! and fun. Because I found learning new words interesting in Maori. Because it is our official languages and it's Maori lguage week. At the last slide I will be doing my create task differently. So I hope you enjoy reading what we learnt for today lesson in Te Reo. Such as a story/myth, object they used in Math and yeah! As it is (MLW) & For people who don't know NZ. Maori is 1 of the official language . But never mind about that. So below is my Taha Whanau challenge that my class were doing. For this task. We just need to write or create a poster sharing about a special occasion. <span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Task description: This week we are revisioning/rewinding on Decimal/Fractions. Because to test us if we still know how to add & subtract Decimals. And for the Fractions task it is in the last slide. It is a game which I found cool! I will post it differently. So what we have to do is really answer questions that involved with decimals. Which we both equally did each 1 slide equally. I was working with my person/buddy named Amira. Which we found this task easy & quite hard a bit. Because there was 1 question that was hard the second one. But we did it and we are both proud. Task description: Hey everyone and I/we are back at school now! And the first thing we did for our programme was Math. But 1 thing was different today is our teacher is not here ( homeroom. So I am here in my literacy teacher class Ms Tapuke. For Math our goal ( her class ) we are learning is Math class is measurement, and how to convert between metric units. Which what we have to do is simply answer questions/equation. And show our strategy, then after finishing we did post it. I found this task quite confusing. Because it was to remember which side is X & Divide in Length. But 1 thing I learnt in Math is how to convert Capacity & Mass. Because I it was cool converting Capacity/Mass because I haven't learnt to convert it before. I hope you enjoy!<br />

Task description: This task our main focus is learning new words in Maori. And how to ask and answer questions, which this task is about what things are. Because each week we have different focus/intention/topic we are learning. This week our topic/work we are learning is He aha to hiahia! What do you want? And I found this task quite simple, really because we just answer questions. And do then do our create task which I'm doing differently/seperate. So I hope you enjoy reading and 1 thing I learnt is in this task is saying new words in a different language. Because I found interesting/cool! learning the culture of Maori:)Tuluingahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11267512607742967642noreply@blogger.com0
