Museums

Yesterday morning the whole year 3 went to the museum to discuss and experience about  man

dinosaurs and fossils. The kind and lovely parents came with us to have a scavenger hunt.

First we went to the classroom. It was incredible because there were many different shape

Of fossils.We saw different people pretend and imagine being a paleontologist. It was because

We had to investigate the fossils and it was the massive egg,then huge skull and the pointy sharp claw.Then we try to talk about what is it and we explain it to the group to tell which was the fossils.After that we touched different artefacts.Also we have guessed is it a fossil or not. When we were playing josh told us is it a fossil and we have to guess to after that josh told us to don't tell.

I enjoy the museums because it is a marvellous place I will like it to do it again when I am year 4.

Today room fourteen went to assembly to perform about a song called there's one in the bush because Mr Blakeys through it was a brilliant idea to show how dinosaur were extinct.

I felt anxious because there were heaps of people.But when we was started our teacher announced us before it finished My favourite part was the beginning.

I felt a little bit  better and I wanted to do it again because I was surprised and special.Cause people was cheering for room fourteen.

Last week we went into a year four class to see how they use chromebooks. It was fun and interesting.Chromebooks are Similar to laptop and really easy to use I’ll be using one next year.

There will be a meeting next Tuesday at 6pm which i’d love you to go to.You can learn about how I’ll be using them and what you need to do.

On Saturday I went with my grandma and grandpa and all of my family to my cousin great grandma and she was 70 years old.When it was starting my cousin at a Australia take a picture of all of the people when the whole people came. We pray before we ate the cake after that we follow the person at the front because we will go in circles and get lost.Then we made it to the restaurant.When we came there it look like a hotel after that we ate ring,ham ,lamb, pasta and drink coke and I tell my uncle and my aunts I drink three.Later on we went home and it was awesome,super mega ,amazing, and it exploded my hand.

Being a pilot

To be a good pilot you need think carefully, make good decisions and always to keep the safety of others in mind. Pilot is fun because you can travel around the city and different place. Being a pilot would be wonderful. 

Being a scientist

Scientists work hard to solve interesting problems that most of us would never understand. Scientist work hard to solve cases by their knowledge. They are intelligent so they can use their brain.They must be smart at math. Being a scientist is tricky work to have.

I love the rain because it helps the plants to grow strong and healthy and it helps the rainbow to spread its happiness around different places.So our place is beautiful.

I like the rain because it looks like it putting cream around my face,like ice cream coming down.

Feeding the birds

Holding our piece of bread,we crept on to the field to feed the gulls. After that we tiptoes and quietly so we won't make the gull scared.

Secondly we threw the bread so the gull can come and eat the bread fast like flash and speed up too.When we threw it we put them like a sky tower.

Ratcatcher

A ratcatcher job is to catch as many rats as they can in one day.Ratcatcher climb down into the sewer and which was smell disgusting.They catch rats so they  won't spread the disease.

There are two different ways the ratcatcher use to kill the rats.First they track them down with a dog which was small because if you brought a big dog your dog will get sticky and stuck. Second you shoot the mouse with a gun.

Dear Awkward Guys,

Yesterday, I saw you having serious problems running down the road in your brand new running gear.  It looked like you were really in need of some help, so I decided to write to you to give you two tips.

Firstly you look straight ahead so you don't be last place.If you don't look ahead you might  hurt someone and crash.

Secondly you should bend your arm so you can be fast and speedy. If you don't you will come slow.like a snail

Matariki

Matariki is the name of the group of stars. that appear in the winter night sky it mark the beginning of Maori new year which is time for people to celebrate.

There are lot of different way to celebrate matariki. People watch performances on a stage and make your family proud . We also share Kai with our friends and uncle.

Our tree

Tree supply our oxygen to help us breathe.They provide home for wildlife and shelter for everything.

From faraway macrocarpa was swing his branch to get fit and drink healthy water to grow big and strong.

From close up,the tree look tall and huge and it look different with its green leaves.

Morning walk

This morning we went for a walk.We were walking on the grass which was wet and frosty. The grass looked white and frozen.

When we were walking we saw spider webs glistening in the morning sun.We saw some spider webs and it was shiny and shaped like a diamond.I saw a kereru and which was singing like a lullaby.

Mr Burt

Mr Burt is our principal. his shoe is shine and sparkly. He wears famous clothes which smell nice.

His office is fantastic because it smell like jewel.  He has got heap of thing like relaxing chair in his huge office.

Mr Burt is very busy because he shows the visitors around and shows how we take charge of ourselves.

The snail

Snail look slimy so they are not good to touch. They have a shell which is hard and

Protects it.

They live in the shade because it to hot. We can easily find snail on tree and rock

They eat leave,branch and grass because that is their favourite food.

Our playground

"the whole school uses our playground its on the bottom field and it. Near the kindergarten the ground is also by the horse

the playground is long and wide.

There a lot of things that we can play on the playground my favourite thing is jungle gym because it slippery and it look like I am swaying around a jungle.
