Week 5 Word Problem

WALT: Find more than one way of solving different word problems.

Task description: This week in week 5 in my math class we were working on our word problem. Want I wanted to achieve was to do some different ways and so in some slide I did two ways but in some slide I did one. So this is my work and for me it was quite hard question and easy one too. My next thing to do is a question showing 2 different ways. Here is the video in the first slide of how to solve different word problems.

Tuluinga Addition Pyramid.

Walt: Learning to add big numbers.

Task description: Today on Monday our main focus was how to solve word problem in two different ways. But so this is another task and it was a Addition Pyramid. What we have to do in this pyramid and each number like 36 + 66 = 102 put it up on the top then the res add.

Walt: Create a Narrative.

 Once upon a time there was a beautiful young girl named Little Red. She lived in a small cottage under a huge tree. Little Red special talent was her sweet lovely voice, which attracted all creatures in the forest. Unfortunately she felt sad and very lonely. Her wish was to become a singer because she wanted to showcase her voice in front of a huge crowd. She moved to the city, met a director and she got a contract for a lead role in a brand new musical production called Little Red Riding hood.

Task description: This week in my class class we were doing writing and our task was to write a narrative but only six sentences. Well what I chose for my narrative was Little Red but a twist. But what we were learning first was what each sentence is and well the first sentence is introducing the character. Second sentence is where the character live and the rest was of the four sentence is the character talent, problem, and how it solve. This is my writing.

What is DNA? And How does it work task.

Today in my class we were doing our genomics task about DNA.Well this is me and my friend Marie's work of what is DNA and How does it work. For me I thought this task was quite hard understanding and learning about DNA. But overall this is what me and my partner learnt about DNA and feel free to comment too.

Here you may see this is my create task I did with my buddies. What we were actually suppose to do was to create a scene and make a video and show it to our class. But unfortunately, we didn't have time to make a video so we decided to do a slide instead and it is called Behind the scene of Springers. Our mixture word problem.

WALT: Use different strategies to solve a mixture of word problems.

This week and also our the last term, we have a math test next week and so our activity was a mixture of word problems. In my opinion I was really interested because it was the same work from last week  but I kinda forgot about my strategies. In our work it was mostly timetable problems and it was really challenging.
