Our fun Cross Country day last week!❤

Our fun Cross Country day last week!❤

                                   Malo e lelei Katoa๐Ÿ˜ƒ,
Last week on Friday we had our annual cross country. WOW right! And for you guys who don't know P.E.S ( Point England school )  when we have our annual cross country. It's Every year we always have a cross country on September.  And what we have to do is simply run. My favorite part about cross country is seeing all the kids who participate. As I am one of the house captain. Which I am really a proud sport captain and each house captain too. ( 2 per team )  have 4 teams. Red( Te Aurere), Blue(Hine Moana ), Green(Hokule'a), and Yellow (Hikianalia). And I am the Red captain/leader with my partner Paschal. But unfortunately he couldn't come. But never mind about that. So the first thing we did as a whole school was hearing me do the prayer. To be honest with you's I was so nervous doing it but happy/blessed too. Knowing how to experience being in front of a lot of people speaking:) and next time I want to improve speaking confidently as it's my last year as being a leader too. So then after doing the prayer the house captains then do their encouragement words. Then after, we demostrate to the kids where to run first.  Once after showing/demostrating it was time to start and kaboom!

Everybody did so good trying their best as a champion ofc๐Ÿ˜Œ. Because they were determined to try their best. But people who didn't come it's okay. But you guys miss a lot of fun. But it's really fine.  My 2 favorite part is their attitude and encouragement to 1 another. Which that was 1 of my other favourite part too. Because I love all their supportness to 1 each other.  It really made me really happy!

This whole experience of cross country was a blast. To end cross country Toby prayed for us. We then let off back to class.  ( I was very very  proud of myself and my siblings)๐Ÿ‘

Tuluinga Finding a Fractions of a Whole

WALT: Find a fraction that is given to us and finding the Whole.

Task description: This task here is the level 2 Math task.  Which is the easiest task/work my class are doing today. Because in Maths we have 3 slides we can choose, and already me & my class already done level 3. Which is the middle task, quite hard & easy (both) task. But so right now we are doing the easiest one. I found this task really difficult actually. Because the questions were in Maori. Which the translation was quite hard to understand until our teacher ( Mrs Ilaoa ) told/explain us.  And I found it less difficult. 1 thing I learnt is finding a fraction in a whole. Because it was very interesting. So I hope you enjoy! (This task was all about Fractions)

Te Reo Rotation: Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi?

Today at PES ( Point England school ) it was time for the year 7's to go tech. While the year 8's are here at school starting our rotation already. After morning tea. My group ( tahi ) went to our Te reo maori rotation and this is our lesson we are doing/learning. Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi? What is the weather like. And for this task we really needed to learn the new kupu hou ( new word ) and the phrases. Then answer the following questions. Which I found this task cool! and fun. Because I found learning new words interesting in Maori. Because it is our official languages and it's Maori lguage week. At the last slide I will be doing my create task differently. So I hope you enjoy reading what we learnt for today lesson in Te Reo. Kia ora!

And for today's literacy class task. Our task is to create a poster. About our Modern day Tongan Hero dun dun duuun instead of a traditional hero. Because it is way easier to write a factual info's of a modern one. Because there more info's about them. Oh and our WALT: Summarise and present key information. But I wrote a lot about my superhero. Facts, Info's, quote, Journey, and more. My superhero I choice/pick was the best/scariest man on  pro wrestling history. King Haku๐Ÿ‘‘! I found this task super fun!
